Volunteer
Our volunteers are essential to RDA Brigadoon.
Our coaches and riders all appreciate everything our volunteers do within the centre. There are a huge range of tasks that our volunteers undertake, many are not directly horse or rider related, but are still essential to our ongoing operation.
The majority of our volunteers come to us with no prior horse experience, and that's ok, because we offer training in all tasks within the programme. If you'd rather volunteer away from the horses, we always need assistance with maintenance, repairs, general cleaning and upgrades to the centre.
You may also be able to offer to provide some services to our centre remotely, you'd be surprised!

Sponsor a Horse
Our herd of amazing horses are invaluable and in order to keep them living and working at their best, there are a lot of expenses.
Horse Sponsorship offers an opportunity to help with these costs and contribute to the little extras we like to give to our wonderful co-workers.
Sponsorship contributes to:
- Feed & Hay
- Farrier (Hoof trimming)
- Dentist (Did you know that horses need to see the dentist every year too?)
- Veterinary Visits (Not just when they're sick!)
- Tack - Every horse has their saddle & bridle checked regularly and refitted when necessary
- Summer Spelling (Our horses get a summer holiday too!)
- Not to mention rugs, first aid gear, regular checking by a specialist Equine Chiropractor... and so much more
